The vehicle is provided with a modern M200XDi turbo diesel engine having a turbine and commonrail system improving the engine power and maximum torque and providing excellent dynamic qualities and efficiency, or with G2.3 petrol engine (licensed be Mercedes Benz).
The shift function is provided by a 5-speed mechanic or 4/6-speed automatic transmission with Power Mode to obtain maximum output and Winter Mode which provides greater safety on icy roads (produced under Mercedes Benz license).
The harmonic operation of its independent front suspension using double wishbones, double-action gas-pressurized dampers and antiroll bar, and rear suspension with multiple links, provides superb steering performance.
The full transmission electronic Part-Time4WD system allows a smooth ride at high speed on asphalt in 2WD High mode, and excellent off-road or slippery road performance in 4WD High and 4WD Low modes.
Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is available to monitor vehicular status constantly, together with the Hill Descent Control (HDC) allowing a smooth descent from a steep hill, and low-range gears providing the required off-road performance.
The automobile is built on a triple-layer ultra-rigid frame.
A comfortable interior climate and clean air inside the automobile are provided by Automatic Climate Control with air quality system (AQS).
